Hi friends! I’m Nicci, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Starting this blog has been on my heart for a while, and I finally decided to jump in. For me, this space is about slowing down, sharing the things that bring me joy, and hopefully connecting with others along the way.

So, who am I? I’m a mom of two wonderful girls who inspire me every day. Family is the center of my world — I also help take care of my mom, who lives with a rare bone disease. Caring for my family has shaped so much of who I am, and it fuels my passion for healthcare and my journey into phlebotomy.

But I’m also a creator at heart. I love painting in different styles — sometimes whimsical, sometimes bold and colorful — and I find so much peace in gardening. My newest obsession is houseplants 🌱 (though I’ll admit I’m still learning how not to kill them, haha). Cooking is another creative outlet for me — I love experimenting in the kitchen and making meals that feel like comfort.

This blog is going to be a little mix of all of those things:

More than anything, I want this space to feel welcoming — like sitting down with a friend over a cup of coffee or tea. Life is busy and overwhelming, but I believe we could all use more connection, listening, and slowing down. This blog is my way of creating that for myself, and maybe for you too.
